Now Education are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher to work within secondary schools across the South Wirral area. We have exciting opportunities available on both a supply and long-term basis, including temp-to-perm opportunities for the right candidate. We welcome applications from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers looking to further develop their career within supportive school environments.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging Humanities lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students and supporting their academic progress. Teachers with recent experience teaching Geography would be highly desirable.

You will be expected to:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Humanities lessons
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively
  • Support pupils of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
  • Work collaboratively with department staff and school leadership teams

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Humanities subjects within a secondary school setting
  • Recent experience teaching Geography would be advantageous
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Passion for education and student development
  • Ability to adapt teaching to meet pupils' needs
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
