Now Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and adaptable Year 4 Teacher to work within a welcoming Catholic Primary School in Liverpool. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers looking to secure a long-term role within a supportive school environment.

The successful candidate will be joining a Year 4 class with a high proportion of SEND needs, therefore recent experience working within Year 4 or Key Stage 2 is essential. The school is looking for a teacher who is confident in adapting lessons, supporting a range of additional needs, and creating an inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.

The Role

  • Full teaching responsibilities within a Year 4 class
  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to pupils' individual needs
  • Support pupils with SEND and adapt learning accordingly
  • Create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with support staff, SENCO, and school leadership

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Recent experience teaching within Year 4 or KS2
  • Strong understanding of SEND and inclusive classroom practice
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to support varying needs
  • Positive classroom management skills and a flexible approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
