The predicted salary is between 20000 - 25000 £ per year.

We are looking to recruit Support workers, sports coaches, health care, and support staff to work in a SEMH school in Smiths Wood/Castle Brom. This is a long-term role starting ASAP and continuing into September. If you have experience working with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), ADHD, or pupils with challenging behaviour, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you. If short on experience but can make up for it with the energy and passion you can bring, then get in contact ASAP.

Responsibilities:

  • Enthusiastic, hard-working, and highly motivated individual to work one-to-one and within small groups, under the guidance of the SENDCO and class teacher.
  • Able to work independently with a student on a 1 to 1 basis or with a group of students.
  • Give flexible and focused support and commit to supporting SEND pupils.

Qualifications:

  • Seeking either Day to Day, Short/Long-term Supply and permanent opportunities.
  • Passionate about supporting a school where you can make a real and lasting difference to the young people in their care.
  • Hold prior experience within a specialist setting (Desirable).
  • Confident de-escalating associated challenging behaviours.
