Now Education are currently recruiting for an experienced and adaptable School Administrator to work within a busy and supportive PRU (Pupil Referral Unit) setting. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and resilient individual who has previous school administration experience and is passionate about supporting young people within alternative provision. The successful candidate will play a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of the school and must be comfortable working in a challenging but rewarding environment.
The Role
- Managing attendance and following up on absences
- Communicating regularly with parents/carers regarding attendance, behaviour and school updates
- Providing administrative support to senior leaders and teaching staff
- Maintaining accurate pupil records and school systems
- Handling sensitive information professionally and confidentially
- Supporting reception duties and visitor management
- Assisting with general office administration

- Previous experience working within a school office or education setting is essential
- Confident managing attendance procedures and parent communication
- Flexible, calm and proactive in their approach
