Now Education are currently supporting a welcoming and well-established primary school in the Liverpool L20 area, who are looking to appoint an experienced Nursery Teacher to cover a maternity leave position commencing from September 2026 until approximately May Half Term 2027. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity within a large Nursery provision consisting of up to 52 pupils.
The Role Will Involve:
- Full responsibility for planning, observations, and assessments within Nursery
- Leading and managing a large Nursery provision of up to 52 pupils
- Deploying and supporting a team of up to 5 support staff
- Delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate EYFS learning opportunities
- Supporting pupils' social, emotional, and academic development
- Maintaining a positive, nurturing, and structured classroom environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong previous Nursery teaching experience
- Excellent understanding of the EYFS curriculum and framework
- Experience leading or managing Nursery staff/support teams
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A nurturing, proactive, and organised approach
