Now Education are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher to work within secondary schools across the South Wirral area. We have exciting opportunities available on both a supply and long-term basis, including temp-to-perm opportunities for the right candidate. We welcome applications from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers looking to further develop their career within supportive school environments.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging Humanities lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students and supporting their academic progress.
  • Plan and deliver high-quality Humanities lessons.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
  • Support pupils of varying abilities to achieve their full potential.
  • Work collaboratively with department staff and school leadership teams.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching Humanities subjects within a secondary school setting.
  • Recent experience teaching Geography would be advantageous.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Passion for education and student development.
  • Ability to adapt teaching to meet pupils' needs.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
