NOW Education is delighted to be recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Primary SEND Teacher to join a SEND School on a maternity cover contract starting September 2026. Our partner school is a well-established and inclusive primary SEND setting, supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and complex needs, including associated behaviours. Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons to meet a range of SEND needs
  • Creating a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Working closely with support staff, SENCO, and external professionals
  • Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
  • Have experience working within a primary SEND setting
