We have a great opportunity available to join Novus, our prison education provider at HMP Five Wells, working as a Vocational Curriculum Manager. This role is offered on a permanent, full‑time basis, working 37 hours per week.
Novus is a leading provider of prison education and has been supporting men, women and children of all ages for over 30 years across the UK. We are part of the LTE group of companies. The role is located at HMP Five Wells, a Category C prison in Wellingborough. HMP Five Wells is a state‑of‑the‑art facility built in 2022.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Teaching qualification – minimum Cert Ed or PGCE
- Degree or equivalent (including equivalent life / career experience)
- Hold at least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
- Experience of implementing continuous quality assurance procedures
- Experience of successful partnership working
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and enthuse teams
- Organisational skills to prioritise workload to meet challenging deadlines and targets
- Analysing trends and identifying impact on curriculum
- IT skills
