We have a great opportunity available to join Novus, our prison education provider at HMP Five Wells working as a Forklift Truck Teacher. This role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis, working 37 hours per week.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience- Hold a teaching qualification and where applicable, relevant subject specialist qualification - with a commitment to obtain the outstanding qualification within 12 months
- Hold a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
- Have experience in creating stimulating, vibrant environments which are conducive to learning and motivational for learners
- Have previous track record showing achievement of quality targets
- Have successfully produced accurate and timely reports
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Can motivate and enthuse learners
- Have organisational skills to prioritise workload to meet deadlines and targets
- Demonstrate positive team working
40 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, 2 hours for wellbeing / personal development per week, significant Pension contributions, retail discounts, employee assistance program, cycle to work scheme.
