We have a great opportunity available to join Novus, our prison education provider at HMP Five Wells, working as a Learning Support Worker. This role is offered on a permanent, full‑time basis, working 37 hours per week.

Site Information
HMP Five Wells is a Category C prison that is based in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. Built in 2022, and costing ÂŁ253m, this state of the art prison accommodates a male prison population. HMP Five Wells are committed to celebrating diversity and promoting equality throughout their services. The prisons aim is to make Five Wells a better place to live, work and visit through collaborative working with third party partners, the MOJ and its surrounding communities.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need to:
- Achieve performance and quality targets
- Produce accurate and timely reporting
- Demonstrate positive team working
- Have experience of conducting assessments and supporting learning of individuals and groups
- Have experience of working with groups of learners with a range of abilities.
- Have experience of successful working in an effective multi-disciplinary team
- Hold Hidden Difficulties Level 2 or equivalent (or be willing to work towards within an agreed timeframe)
- Hold Level 2 qualifications in Literacy and Numeracy (or be willing to work towards within an agreed timeframe)
- 35 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays
- 2 hours for wellbeing / personal development per week
