We have a great opportunity available to join Novus, our prison education provider at HMP Haverigg, working as a Functional Skills English Teacher. This role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis, working 37 hours per week.

Site Information: HMP Haverigg is situated just outside the Lake District in Millom, Cumbria. The prison houses a male population and actively encourages work through training and education. The prison’s mission is to provide a secure, safe, and rehabilitative environment that encourages positive change and prepares inmates for a successful reintegration into society.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience: To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Teaching qualification and where applicable, relevant subject specialist qualification - with a commitment to obtain the outstanding qualification within 12 months.
- Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy.
