We are seeking a motivated and focussed graduate electronic engineer to join our dedicated team of development engineers. The main function of the role will be the design and development of electronic test applications for functional testing across various industry sectors.
You will be involved in the testing of hardware and software, Design electronic test applications. Program testing using National Instruments such as LabView, Teststand or Matlab. Commissioning of Test Applications and project management. Support customers for all technical queries.
Job Purpose: To gain experience and learn skills to be able to independently design and develop Automatic Test Equipment solutions to the highest quality. This will involve learning both hardware and software skills :-
* Design and develop electronic test applications for functional test equipment.
* Solving a range of Problems in test applications be they Mechanical, Electrical or Pneumatic.
* Assembly of Mechanical and Electrical assemblies, including soldering and Crimping
* Executing hardware design tasks in accordance with the hardware development plan, whilst meeting agreed timescales
* Develop hardware product test specifications and procedures in-line with customer’s requirements.
The Person
We are seeking a motvated and outgoing graduate to join our busy development team
Degree in Electrical and Electronic engineering, ideally First Class
* Knowledge of Instrumentation such as PXI, LXI, GPIB
* Test system architecture and electro-mechanical engineering
* Experience of hardware design
* Solving a range of Problems in test applications be they Mechanical, Electrical or Pneumatic.
* Electrical assemblies, including soldering and Crimping
* Project Management
* Excellent verbal and written communications skills
* Security clearance checks will be required. UK/EU Nationals only
* OWN TRANSPORT REQUIRED

basic salary c£30k + annual bonus c£6k (after 12 months service), Healthcare, 28 Days annual leave including bank holidays
