We have a new and immediate requirement for an experienced Build Technician with a strong Electro-Mechanical assembly background. This is an excellent company to work for with great benefits and flexible hours.

As a Build Technician, you will:

  • Build units from engineering drawings and work instructions
  • Electrical and mechanical component assembly
  • Electronic components assembly including soldering
  • Product testing
  • Carry out additional duties as required

We are seeking a highly skilled and capable Technician with knowledge of both electro-mechanical assembly and electronics, along with soldering skills. You should be able to follow work instruction processes and complete tasks within the timescale of projects. An eye for detail and the ability to work in an organised and structured manner are essential. While you will be working as part of a team, the ability to work independently is equally important.

Hours of work: Flexible, Monday to Friday, either 08:00 – 16:30 or 07:30 – 16:00. You will require your own transport due to limited public transport.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical qualification or 2-3 years’ experience in electro-mechanical assembly or electronics-related manufacturing
  • Strong technical skills with excellent hands-on abilities
  • Proven soldering experience; IPC certification beneficial
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in a manufacturing assembly environment
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and follow work instruction manuals
  • Passport required as training in Sweden may be necessary
  • Willingness to undergo and pass UK security vetting
