This NPD role works across the full spectrum from concept to launch, working with commercial and category teams and contributing to both own-label and branded development. Working on two retail accounts there is a great opportunity here to make your mark driving the innovation with key customers on top tier products, making a real mark in the business and supporting your own future development.

It’s an excellent role if you’re looking to progress your career and want greater autonomy in shaping new product concepts. Reporting to the Development Director, you’ll have strong support from both NPD and Category teams to help you grow and develop. The Director brings a refreshing, progressive approach, offering genuine autonomy and a mentoring style that’s hard to overlook.

You’ll need to bring solid product development expertise and the confidence to work directly with retail customers, so experience managing and developing retail accounts is essential. This role is ideal for an experienced Technologist or Product Development Manager looking to broaden their creative skills in a fast‑paced, rapidly evolving category.

  • Experience in product development in the food industry
  • Comfortable and confident dealing directly with retail customers
  • Experience managing the product life cycle from concept to launch in deadline-driven environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think laterally
  • A genuine love of food and the industry
  • Experience working in manufacturing within retail food production
  • Confident, enthusiastic and able to engage with peers and stakeholders at all levels
  • Passion for product development and the ability to keep project plans up to date
  • Able to manage the critical path and collaborate cross-functionally to meet deadlines
  • Highly organised, able to coordinate multi-stakeholder projects
