We're looking for a detail-driven interim technologist to ensure every ingredient and every supplier meets our clients' standards for food safety, quality and compliance. You'll work closely with Technical, Supply Chain and Production, hitting the ground running as the go-to person for raw material specs, supplier approval and ingredient risk management.
What you'll do:
- Approve and manage suppliers, keeping documentation up to date.
- Maintain raw material specs and allergen/legality data.
- Complete ingredient risk assessments and support compliance checks.
- Support NPD by approving new ingredients ahead of launch.
- Investigate supplier issues and manage corrective actions.
- Stay audit-ready with strong documentation control.
You need to be:
- Organised, analytical and confident working with suppliers and internal teams.
- Detail-oriented, understanding food safety and legislation, maintaining high standards.

- Significant experience in raw material and supplier technologist roles in the UK food industry - essential.
