Production Manager £60k plus bonus Skegness Unique production management role to head up operations, lead the team and make your mark in this well invested site. If you have worked in food manufacturing and understand the importance of KPI management to measure and introduce effective changes to amend processes and increase efficiency, you will have the ideal background for this role. Experienced in the leading production teams, you will know how to balance the different skills across that team for optimum development and cross functional working. There is an experienced and enthusiastic team in situ. It now needs someone to head up that team and bring their knowledge and skill in production management to implement structure, organisation and visibility to deliver improved, optimum ways of operating. This is a supportive and highly team focussed business and will allow for full autonomy in the role. Reporting into the Operations Director, the factory will be yours to run, manage and lead. The Business is a successful food manufacturer with an outstanding reputation. The site is well invested with further CapEx planned this year. Proud of their heritage and reputation, they focus on quality and customer service. With long standing team members in their factories, they retain their people and continue to embed a team focussed culture. This site, as part of a wider business, is critical to the organisation. This role will include: Working closely with the team, hands-on in the factory. Driving consistency in quality. Reviewing all practices with a view to implemented improvements in all areas. Leadership and effective team management. Report to the Operations Director. Full autonomy to lead and run production. The essential background for this role: Production management background in Food Manufacturing is essential. Previous experience of delivering improvements. Proven ability to drive an inclusive culture. Results focused, able to interpret numbers. Hands-on approach with a full grasp of the detail. Leadership ability from experience with a coaching and motivational style.
