This Production Manager role needs a background in food manufacturing and the ability to always be striving for an audit‑ready HSE compliant production operation ensuring leadership and all the KPI's are a key focus. As always, CI plays a big role and the need to drive change in line with the long‑term strategy whilst managing the day to day requires an agile approach. Knowing what works, how to find those improvements drawing on previous experience, lean manufacturing knowledge and how to get the best out of people while delivering consistently. Visibility and open communication is vital in this role with production and working cross‑functionally with engineering, technical, supply chain/planning and development.

There is a supportive and highly team‑focused Senior Management Team with a wealth of experience to draw from, offering full autonomy in the role. The site has a diverse range of great products and trusted customers and is looking to further develop the customer base.

Other responsibilities for the Production Manager:

  • Managing the shift management team.
  • Developing the KPI measurements and implementing the continuous improvement programme.
  • Being hands‑on and involved in the daily action.
  • Driving consistency.
  • Reviewing all production practices with a view to implementing improvements in all areas.
