A great opportunity for a National Account Manager who is looking for development and mentoring, joining an established team where people, innovation and quality are core priorities. Due to an internal promotion, this role will support and develop strategic retail accounts. The Role

  • Develop and build relationships with major retail accounts in line with the commercial strategy
  • Create and deliver commercial plans with effective proposals across branded and own‑label ranges
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of the category, including innovation, trends and sector changes
  • Create and deliver JDPs aligned to the strategic agenda
  • Lead customer negotiations and become their trusted 'go‑to' contact
  • Work cross‑functionally to drive commercial projects and contribute to an open, engaged culture

Your Background

  • Strong account management experience and commercial acumen, ideally with major UK retailers
  • A confident communicator with excellent attention to detail and thorough preparation for customer meetings
  • Able to work collaboratively across commercial and wider business functions
  • Numerically strong
  • A genuine interest in the food industry

As mentioned above, this role has arisen due to a promotion, so succession planning and personal development are important to the business.
