A busy FMCG site needing a HR generalist to come in as HRBP and work closely with the Head of HR managing a small team. Generalist roles in fast paced environments are always full of variety and this role is no different. You will be joining a great team who are busy with a wide range of activities on this manufacturing site. There are real experts to learn from - the Head of HR has years of experience along with others in the HR function across the Group.

As well as the generalist background, this HRBP role ideally needs experience of restructures and ER. Any experience with the unions would be a significant advantage.

As you would expect, the HRBP role will involve:

  • Classic generalist HR activities.
  • Supporting and guiding line managers.
  • Support and work closely with the Site Director.
  • Involvement in any restructure projects.
  • Any Employment Relation activities for the site.
  • Depending on background, union involvement.

  • A confident HR generalist with an open communication style.
  • Engaging, able to influence and guide managers on HR practice.
  • A multi-tasker who can keep an eye on the detail despite working at pace when plans change.
  • CIPD qualified.
  • Forward thinking, able to head off issues before they become issues!
  • Previous experience in fast paced environments.
  • A hands-on HR role that will suit someone who thrives on changing environments - no two days are the same in fast paced manufacturing, so you need prioritisation and organisation skills, the ability to react and adapt when things change, and at the same time being proactive to keep everything on track.
