Our client is seeking an Electrical Assembly Engineer, working from a purpose-built manufacturing facility. This role involves the complete assembly of electro-mechanical drum handling equipment, along with the installation of hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.

Applicants with a background as an Electrical Installation Engineer, Heavy Vehicle Electrician, or Agricultural Engineer would be well suited to this position due to the transferable nature of the skills involved. A strong electrical background is essential. Full in-house training will be provided on product assembly and role-specific processes.

Main Purpose of the Role
  • Increase output within the assembly department
  • Assemble lifting equipment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Contribute to delivering high-quality handling equipment to customers
Key Tasks
  • Install electrical circuits used across a range of handling products
  • Assemble lifting equipment in line with engineering drawings and procedures
  • Install hydraulic and pneumatic circuits (training provided)
  • Check and verify electrical work completed by other team members to ensure compliance

Equipment is manufactured in steel and stainless steel, with lifting capacities ranging from 20kg to 2000kg.

Additional Information
  • Hourly rate: £30,000 - £35,000
  • Hours: 40 hours per week (overtime available)
  • Overtime rate: 1.5x hourly rate
  • Holiday entitlement: 28 days including bank holidays
