The role:
- As Engineering Shift Manager, you will be working closely with the team, getting to know them, their strengths and development areas and making sure they are truly embedded with the operations teams.
- Develop robust processes and systems to ensure engineering is reliable and consistent working in close conjunction with operations.
- Developing strong continuous improvement practices within engineering and driving this culture within the team.
- Supporting the Engineering Manager in all improvement activities to drive operational excellence.
- Working collaboratively across functions to help identify wider CI projects that can impact engineering and the wider team.
- Be the lead on new initiatives in engineering training and developing the team in best practice and standard operating procedures.

What background will you need:
- Time served engineering experience ideally at shift manager already or supervisory level ready to make that move up.

- Experience of CI projects.
