We’re partnering with a successful FMCG manufacturer in the Northwest to find a National Account Executive who would thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
About the role:
- Looking for a role that gives you a great understanding of the commercial world in FMCG?
- Working on some of the major, well‑established accounts, you would support the commercial team in driving sales, helping manage customer partnerships, deliver promotions and new product launches, and ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations with major retailers.
- Reporting into the Commercial Director opens up a real opportunity here for personal development, not many roles at this level would have a mentor with the experience in the industry to learn from.
Your day‑to‑day:
- Support account growth across major customers by assisting with sales targets, account plans, and day‑to‑day operations.
- Use data insights to track performance and identify opportunities.
- Manage account administration.
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure strong execution.
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and customer requirements.
- Deliver promotions and product launches, from concept to launch.
What are we looking for in your background?
- You would ideally be a driven individual with some commercial experience who embraces an atmosphere where no two days are the same.
- Working closely with customers, understanding their challenges, striving for collaborative working between the businesses, and taking pride in outstanding relationship management and customer service.
- Some commercial experience, ideally in a food or FMCG environment.
- Food retailer or foodservice experience essential.
- Strong numerical skills, working with Excel or other sales‑related software.
