Location: Warrington office – Site based in and around M62/M6 corridor (Warrington/Manchester/Liverpool) – typically working 39 hours per week Monday to Friday.
As a Site Manager for Novus, you’ll get to see the impact and improvements your role delivers to your customers and team every day. This varied and challenging role offers you the opportunity to work with and manage a skilled professional sub contractor trade team, in a secure environment. You will utilise your Site Management skills in single projects within Health and Education works, while looking for ways to add real value to the customers you work with.
Supported by your peers, team, and management to solve problems, you will be trusted to make decisions to grow and develop relationships and revenue. You will ensure the smooth running of single project sites as a No 1 Site Manager, ensuring all site personnel carry out their tasks efficiently and effectively to enable the contract to be completed on time, with zero defects, within budget and with no risk to the Health & Safety of their operational team, the Client or the general public. Projects will work in a live environment, typically Hospital or University biased. Experience in remodeling works, design and build, M & E is essential along with proactive programming of works.

An outline of your responsibility as a Site Manager:
- Manage site teams, work activities and resources to meet the requirements of individual contracts.
- Manage the selection and formation of site personnel teams (including Sub Contractors).
- Ensure all necessary contract documentation/reports are accurate and produced on time in conjunction with the Contracts Manager.
- Identify site hazards and ensure risk assessments and control methods are implemented via the Construction Phase Health.
- Ensure all sites work comply with Legal and Statutory requirements, including Health, Safety and Welfare.
- Assist in the preparation process for estimates, bids and tenders in partnership with the Contracts Manager.
- Create, manage and report on projects with multiple, live site locations through the use of a master programme.
About You:
The successful Site Manager will have experience in single projects typically up to £4m, remodeling and upgrading works within a live Health/Education environment, mainly within hospitals or academic areas such as wards and classrooms. You will manage the delivery through to completion/handover. A Full UK driving licence is required to travel to Sites daily. You must hold SMSTS or associated NVQ, as well as being confident with IT and proficient in MS Office.
