Location: Onsite covering Swindon and approx 60-90 minute radius - typically working Monday to Friday 39 hours.

As a Skilled Labourer for Novus Property Solutions, you’ll work with a great team, who support each other and work together to deliver a great service for our customers. Possessing a background as a handyperson/skilled labourer with basic trade skills on site, familiar with working internally and externally, at height and ideally working within social housing tenanted properties, although further training, including in health and safety will be given.

An outline of your responsibilities and experience:

  • General maintenance around site (tenanted properties), supporting all trades across various internal responsive repair works.
  • Basic joinery including repairs or replacements of doors, windows, kitchens and bathrooms.
  • Basic plumbing including repairing or replacing taps, basins, baths, shower trays/heads, sanitary ware.
  • Basic patch plastering experience.
  • Painting and decorating experience desirable not essential.
  • Ensure all site is kept clean and in order, including removing refuge from site.
  • Using a PDA and working from job tickets.
  • Follow and enforce company health and safety procedures.
  • Always delivering an outstanding service to customers with the understanding that you are working in their homes.
  • Manage systems so they are up to date and accurate.

This role will require a Full UK Driving Licence and a DBS check to be taken.
