Location: Working for our Burton office/Site Based - around Stoke, with occasional coverage required for East Midlands locations. Typically working Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week.
Role Summary: As Site Managers for Novus, you’ll see the impact and improvements your role delivers to your customers and team every day, enhancing your job satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
- Utilise your Site Management skills in Social Housing and Planned refurbishment works while adding real social value to the communities and customers.
- Oversee the smooth operation of multiple assigned sites delivering social housing re-roofing projects, ensuring all personnel perform their duties efficiently and effectively.
- Complete each contract on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, achieving zero defects while maintaining strict health and safety compliance.
- Manage site teams, work activities, and resources to meet individual contract requirements.
- Manage the selection and formation of site personnel teams, including Sub Contractors.
- Collate all pre-construction information (packs, asbestos surveys, etc.).
- Ensure all necessary contractual documentation and reports are accurate and produced on time in conjunction with the Contracts Manager.
- Identify site hazards and ensure risk assessments and control methods are implemented via the Construction Phase Health.
- Ensure all sites comply with Legal and Statutory requirements, including Health, Safety, and Welfare.
- Assist in the preparation process for estimates, bids, and tenders in partnership with the Contracts Manager.
- Create, manage, and report on projects with multiple live site locations through the use of a master programme.

About You: The successful Site Manager will enhance the existing team and will have strong experience in Planned refurbishment Works within Social Housing/tenanted properties. A good working knowledge of Internal or external refurbishments is essential; previous Roofing knowledge is not essential. You will manage the delivery through to completion/handover, managing a few sites at any given time. Commercial awareness is necessary to ensure costs meet budget requirements. A Full UK driving licence is required to travel to sites daily. You must hold SMSTS or associated NVQ and First Aid at work, as well as being confident with IT and proficient in MS Office. The role will require a DBS check.
