Location & Working Hours: Stoke-on-Trent office or Warrington office; hybrid working (office/home and site). Regional travel required to the North West, Yorkshire, East and West Midlands. Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (typically 8.30 am – 5.00 pm).

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, processing and selection of estimates, bids and tenders to demanding timescales.
- Assist in the development of the procurement programme from handover to estimating.
- Manage subcontractors from procurement through to mobilisation, including reviewing applications, assessing variations and issuing relevant certificates in accordance with contract requirements.
- Prepare and monitor cash‑flow forecasts for designated projects.
- Prepare and submit monthly applications for payment to the client/client’s representative.
- Prepare monthly cost valuation reports.
- Submit invoices for certified value and ensure payments are received on time.
- Value and authorise payments to subcontractors.
- Liaise with contract managers to establish the project specification and requirements.
- Attend and contribute to meetings with work colleagues and/or clients/customers when necessary, building relationships and demonstrating excellent communication skills.
- Monitor contract progress, assess and report any changes that may affect project costs or timescales.
- Assist in the control of contract budgets.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Assistant Quantity Surveyor within Education, Healthcare and Leisure refurbishment/fast‑fit projects, ideally in a live environment.
- Knowledge of JCT contract forms and Design & Build traditional contracts.
- Attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient IT skills, including MS Office.
- Full UK driving licence (regional travel required).
