Roofer - Responsive Repairs
Location: Site based around Salisbury/Warminster and approximately a 60 minute radius - typically working Monday to Friday 39 hours
As a Roofer for Novus Property Solutions, you’ll work with a great team, who support each other and work together to deliver a great service for our customers. Ideally possessing a background and qualification in Roofing, working within Social Housing tenanted properties on traditional roofs, and shared accommodation complexes.

An outline of your responsibilities and experience
- Roofer with experience of working on all aspects of domestic roofing and related repairs including: Roof tile replacements, fascia/soffit and rain water goods repairs/replacements, chimney and valley repairs and flat roof refelting
- Previous experience working in a live environment would be beneficial
- Breathable system compliant with current fixings meeting British standard specifications and competent roofer beneficial but not essential
- Working from job tickets or a handheld device daily
- Working in co-operation with other trades/occupations as well as the site or contract team, whilst managing own time effectively
- Following Novus’ exemplary Health and Safety policies and standards
- Manage Systems to ensure they are up to date and accurate
- Candidates will also require Working at Height, Asbestos Awareness and Manual Handling training. Where these certifications have expired, refresher training can be provided by Novus.
- Knowledge of current roofing standards, including BS 5534 and BS 8000
- Knowledge and qualifications in; NVQ Level 3 Roofing Occupations or Competent Roofer Scheme experience preferred
- Manufacturer-approved roofing system training (e.g., Bauder, IKO, Sika, Marley, Redland).
- PASMA, IPAF and Solar PV experience are all advantageous
- Full UK Driving Licence is required
- This role will require a DBS check
