Location: Sites based, covering two sites in Manchester and Preston. Standard Hours Monday- Friday 39 hours plus out of hours on call as required.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Multi Trade Joiner to join Novus Property Solutions, Repairs division, providing high-quality repairs and replacement services within educational sites within Manchester and Preston. Working on live refurbishment projects including minor works and repairs in both academic and non-academic areas, your role will be varied and customer focused, surrounded by like-minded teammates who work together to ensure an excellent service. This role will support you, value your skills, give you stability, whilst keeping your work interesting and meaningful.

An outline of your responsibilities and experience

Responsibilities
- Working in a live education environment on academic and non-academic refurbishments.
- Working from job tickets or a handheld device on a daily basis linked to a live shared system.
- Trusted to manage your own day and workload effectively.
- Always delivering an outstanding service to customers with the understanding that you are working within an occupied building where the day to day doesn’t stop, we need to work around the customers requirements.
- Following Novus’ exemplary Health and Safety policies and standards.
Qualifications
The works include all aspects of building joinery repairs/replacements and some plumbing works. Multi trade skills in plumbing, tiling, patch plastering and painting are desirable. NVQ Level 2/3 Joinery. Full UK driving license is required.
