Skilled Labourer
Site based: Typically working Monday to Friday 39 hours per week, based around Hereford covering from Ludlow to Ross on Wye
As a Labourer for Novus Property Solutions, you’ll work with a great team, who support each other and work together to deliver a great service for our customers. Possessing a background in manual labour on Site, familiar with working externally, at height and ideally working within Social Housing tenanted properties, although further training, including in Health and Safety will be given.

An outline of your responsibilities and experience
- General Labouring around site, supporting sub contracts following delivery of kitchen and bathrooms, moving materials and putting the site/property back together
- Ensure materials received are of a high standard in terms of quality, typically taking deliveries of Kitchens, Bathrooms, welfare units
- Liaise with Site Manager to ensure stock is maintained and allocated correctly
- Manage Systems so they are up to date and accurate
- Deliver materials and plant to operatives on site.
- Ensure all site is kept clean and in order, including removing refuge from site
- Follow and enforce company health and safety procedures
- Construction, social housing refurbishment or planned maintenance industry experience preferred.
- Candidates will also require Working at Height, Asbestos Awareness and Manual Handling training. Where these certifications have expired, refresher training can be provided by Novus.
- Knowledge and Qualifications in;
- NVQ Level 2 Construction Operations
- PASMA, IPAF and Banksman / Traffic Marshall Training are all advantageous
- This role will require a Full UK Driving Licence
- The role will require a DBS check to be taken
