Location: Site based covering Dorset, Hampshire and Somerset. Standard Hours Monday- Friday 39 hours plus out of hours on call.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Floor Layer to join Novus Property Solutions, Responsive Repairs and Voids division, providing high-quality flooring repairs and replacement services within Social Housing void and tenanted properties. This role will support you, value your skills, give you stability, whilst keeping your work interesting and meaningful.

Responsibilities and Experience:
- Applications are welcome from experienced candidates that have a Floor Laying background.
- Works including but not limited to; measuring, ordering and fitting various flooring types of vinyl, carpet, including cap and cove.
- Self-level and screeding
- Multi trade advantageous but not essential; tiling, basic plumbing and joinery, attention to detail a must.
- Working on Responsive Repairs in tenanted properties
- Social Housing experience is essential.
- Working from job tickets or a handheld device on a daily basis linked to a live shared system.
- Trusted to manage your own day and workload effectively
- Always delivering an outstanding service to customers with the understanding that you are working in their homes
- Following Novus’ exemplary Health and Safety policies and standards
- Full UK driving license is required.
- The role will also require a DBS check to be completed.
