Location: Site based covering Chippenham, Royal Wootton Basset, Newbury and surrounding areas.

Standard Hours: Monday‑Friday 39 hours

An outline of your responsibilities and experience:

  • Applications are welcome from experienced candidates that have a Multi Trade Operative background, joinery experience essential.
  • The works include various enabling works prior to the commencement of Retrofit works – loft boarding or walk ways, loft hatch alterations, airing cupboard construction.
  • Prior to commencement of the retrofit works, it must be ensured that all internal doors have a 10 mm clearance gap.
  • Prepared to support with some labouring duties including clearing loft spaces, supporting Site teams as and when required.
  • Receiving and allocation of materials – adhoc.
  • Working in tenanted properties – Social Housing experience is essential.
  • Working from job tickets or a handheld device on a daily basis linked to a live shared system.
  • Trusted to manage your own day and workload effectively.
  • Always delivering an outstanding service to customers with the understanding that you are working in their homes.
  • Following Novus’ exemplary Health and Safety policies and standards.
  • Full UK driving license is required.
  • The role will also require a DBS check to be completed.
