At Novus Property Solutions, we’re offering an exciting opportunity to start your career through our Carpentry/Joinery Apprenticeship Programme. This programme is designed to give you the practical skills, qualifications, and personal development needed to become a fully qualified Carpenter. You’ll be supported throughout your journey with structured training, hands‑on experience, and guidance from experienced professionals, helping you grow and reach your full potential.

What you can expect:
As an apprentice, you’ll work alongside experienced tradespeople carrying out refurbishment work in customers’ homes and communal living complexes. The focus of the role is on internal and external refurbishment to a decent homes standard, including installing and maintaining kitchens and bathrooms, windows, doors etc.
During your apprenticeship, you will:
- Achieve a Level 3 Carpentry/Joinery qualification
- Support in various Multi trades through your Apprentice journey and beyond
What You’ll Learn
- Work Methods: Safe use and maintenance of tools and equipment
- Products & Installation: Fitting fire doors, fire stopping, and protective systems
- Preparation: Removing and preparing areas before installation
- Technology: Learning how to use our Oneserve software to record and track completed works
- Health & Safety: Understanding workplace safety standards
- Teamwork: Collaborating effectively in small teams
- Communication: Building strong relationships with colleagues and customers
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for motivated individuals who are eager to learn and develop in a hands‑on role. Ideally, you will have GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade 4–9 / A*–C), although this is not essential. More importantly, you will:
- Have a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Be willing to learn and take on new challenges
- Enjoy practical, physical work
- Be a reliable team player
Please note: This apprenticeship is not suitable for candidates who already hold (or are studying towards) a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Carpentry or Joinery. A DBS check will also be required to be taken.
