The works include the repairs of various UPVC doors, windows, kitchens repairs and installations and general maintenance to ensure functionality. Basic plumbing, tiling & patch plastering, floor laying, mould and damp treatment is desirable. Working in tenanted properties on general maintenance. Social housing experience is essential. Working from job tickets or a handheld device on a daily basis linked to a live shared system. Trusted to manage your own day and workload effectively. Always delivering an outstanding service to customers with the understanding that you are working in their homes. Following Novus' exemplary health and safety policies and standards. NVQ Level 2/3 Joinery. Full UK driving license is required. The role will also require a DBS check to be completed.
Responsibilities
- Undertake joinery and general maintenance tasks in tenanted properties, including repairs to UPVC doors and windows, kitchen repairs and installations.
- Perform basic plumbing, tiling, plastering patch work, floor laying, mould and damp treatment as required.
- Work from job tickets or handheld devices linked to a live shared system and manage daily workload effectively.
- Deliver high-quality service while working in customers’ homes and maintain a professional approach.
- Adhere to Novus health and safety policies and standards.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Joinery.
- Full UK driving licence.
- DBS check to be completed.
- Social housing experience is essential.
