Location: Site based covering Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire. Standard Hours Monday- Friday 39 hours plus out of hours on call.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Floor Layer to join Novus Property Solutions, Responsive Repairs and Voids division, providing high-quality plumbing repairs and replacement services within Social Housing void and tenanted properties. This role will support you, value your skills, give you stability, whilst keeping your work interesting and meaningful. Applications are welcome from experienced candidates that have a Floor Laying background.
Works including but not limited to:
- Measuring, ordering and fitting various flooring types of vinyl and carpet, including cap and cove.
- Self-level and screeding.
- Multi-trade advantageous; painting and decorating, tiling, basic plumbing and joinery.
Attention to detail a must. Working on void properties in the main with occasional responsive repairs. Social Housing experience is essential. Working from job tickets or a handheld device on a daily basis linked to a live shared system. Trusted to manage your own day and workload effectively. Always delivering an outstanding service to customers with the understanding that you are working in their homes. Following Novus' exemplary Health and Safety policies and standards. Full UK driving license is required. The role will also require a DBS check to be completed.
