Overview
Painter & Decorator. Location: Site Based covering York and the wider North East Area. Typically working Monday to Friday, 39 hours.

About You
The successful Painter and Decorator will possess a Painting qualification with the ability to work across multiple sites, although further training, including in Health and Safety will be given. What is equally as important is the ability to take responsibility to ensure tasks are completed and the willingness to work in and as a team to deliver a great service. We have exciting growth plans and want people who are equally as ambitious as we are. Ideal applicants will have a driving license and a van will be supplied; however, based on your pickup location in proximity to our works, we may be able to support non-drivers in this role.

Responsibilities
- Previous experience working as a dedicated Painter and Decorator
- Works will include mainly internal but with some external works such as windows, fascia\’s and garden furniture – some working at height required
- A successful candidate will need to provide evidence of qualifications and training, minimum level 2
- The work will be within the Social Housing Sector so experience in this sector is desirable but not essential
- Working in both occupied and unoccupied properties
- Trusted to hit your targets weekly and manage workload effectively
- Always delivering an outstanding service to customers with the understanding that you are working in their homes
