Responsibilities
- Joinery – repairs of various doors, windows, kitchens, bathrooms and general duties to ensure functionality.
- Flooring experience essential – vinyl floor laying, cap and cove.
- Plumbing – replacing or repairing sanitaryware, toilets, baths, shower trays, basins, refurbishment of shower heads and taps.
- Painting and decorating experience preferred.
- Social housing experience – working in tenanted properties on general repairs and maintenance.
- Managing job tickets or a handheld device on a daily basis linked to a live shared system.
- Managing your own day and workload effectively.
- Delivering outstanding service to customers, understanding that you are working in their homes.
- Following Novus' exemplary Health and Safety policies and standards.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2/3 Joinery (or equivalent).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Previous experience in multi‑trade joinery (joinery experience essential).
- Flooring and plumbing skills are desirable.
- Experience in painting and decorating (preferred).
- Social housing experience is essential.
- DBS check – required.
