We are seeking a passionate and imaginative individual to lead our Enrichment Curriculum. This role involves working closely with teachers across a range of subjects to design and deliver additional activities and learning opportunities that help learners uncover new skills, interests and talents. We’re looking for someone with a creative background—someone who can bring projects to life through music, drama, the arts, or other expressive mediums. The ideal candidate will be confident using their initiative, excited by the idea of being handed a blank canvas and motivated by the challenge of shaping an enrichment offer that sparks intellectual curiosity, creativity and artistic expression.
This role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis working 37 hours per week.
HMP Full Sutton is a Category A high-security prison located in East Yorkshire, approximately 11 miles from York. It accommodates around 600 adult male prisoners, many of whom are serving long-term or life sentences. The prison offers a structured and secure environment where education plays a vital role in rehabilitation. Learners are supported through a range of educational and vocational programmes.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Hold a teaching qualification and where applicable, relevant subject specialist qualification - with a commitment to obtain the outstanding qualification within 12 months
- Hold a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
- Have experience in creating stimulating, vibrant environments which are conducive to learning and motivational for learners
- Have previous track record showing achievement of quality targets
- Have successfully produced accurate and timely reports
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Can motivate and enthuse learners
- Have organisational skills to prioritise workload to meet deadlines and targets
- Demonstrate positive team working
