We have a great opportunity available to join HMP Swinfen Hall through Novus, as a Functional Skills (English) Teacher. This position is offered on a permanent, full-time basis, working 37 hours per week. Who are Novus? Site Information HMP/YOI Swinfen Hall is a category C prison for young adult and adult men Located near the village of Swinfen in Staffordshire. They key aim of the prison is to provide education, vocational training, and comprehensive support services. The main aim of the prison is to prepare inmates for a successful reintegration into society. Role Responsibilities Teach designated hours as required, with a flexible approach to delivering across curriculum areas, within areas of competence, as needed to fulfil Delivery Plan requirements. Design, develop and deliver Schemes of Learning and develop lesson plans to ensure compliance with curriculum best practice and quality targets. Create and review Individual Learning Plans and Learning Support Plans. Develop and deliver course content to meet individual learner needs.
