My client is a global infrastructure and real assets investment specialist. They have over 75 investment professionals with significant experience operating from the UK, US, Canada and Australia. Focusing on supporting institutional investors across all stages of their infrastructure and real assets investment programs, the team offers deep experience across all major real asset sub-sectors (e.g., renewables/clean energy, utilities, transport, telecoms, natural capital, social infrastructure) and executes across primary fund investments, secondary transactions and co-investments.
You would be responsible for providing analytical support to the broader international team in advising clients on investments in infrastructure and associated real asset sectors globally.
Responsibilities/Requirements:- 2 years of experience at an investment bank, project finance firm, professional services firm, investment manager, Limited Partner, or in associated fields
- Advanced financial modelling skills (particularly LBO modelling)
- Strong memo and presentation writing skills
- Exposure to co-investment investments desirable
- Ability to undertake research into potential investment opportunities and sectors, including primary funds, co-investments and direct investments
- Able to construct arguments around investment decisions confidently both verbally and written as well as able to defend your position within the team environment and meetings
- Strong interaction skills - ability to interact with clients effectively and prepare advisory materials
- Support senior staff on sourcing and managing the inflow of investment opportunities
- Additional European language skills - desirable
