At Novuna Consumer Finance, we offer finance for life’s key purchases, including home furnishings and improvements, jewellery, leisure services, healthcare, electronics and appliances.

What you\’ll do

  • As part of our Underwriting Team, make informed decisions on credit applications that need a closer look. Assess affordability to ensure we lend responsibly, support customers, and maintain the highest levels of integrity.
  • Follow our processes and controls carefully, ensure fair outcomes every time, and handle referrals confidently and efficiently β€” ideally solving queries at the first point of contact.
  • This is a hybrid role with two days a week in our Leeds office.
  • Shifts fall between 8:00–18:00 (daytime) and 11:00–20:00 (late), with some weekend work too β€” 3 weekend days per month and 1 late shift per week.
  • Review and resolve referred cases with accuracy and care.
  • Provide clear guidance and support to colleagues to help minimise risk.
  • Ensure every customer receives a fair and positive outcome.
  • Work closely with the Financial Crime and Retail Helpline Teams.

What you\’ll bring

  • You have good organisation skills and can work confidently within set guidelines.
  • You enjoy collaborative working but are also comfortable taking initiative and working independently.
  • Knowledge of underwriting is helpful but not essential; we’re looking for someone who is ready to grow their career.
