At Novuna Vehicle Solutions we're leading the way with Electric Vehicle Leasing, Alternative Fuels and Fleet Electrification. From installing home‑charging units for individual drivers to helping our commercial fleet customers select vehicles and plan their infrastructure.
What you'll do. Reporting to our Driver Line Team Leader, you'll be part of the frontline team supporting drivers of HGVs and Specialist Assets when defects arise. From dashboard warning lights and brake concerns to engine or mechanical issues, you'll be the first point of contact when something isn't right. You'll assess the situation quickly and accurately, arranging prompt booking with our approved repair network or coordinating breakdown and roadside assistance where required—ensuring minimal downtime and keeping vital vehicles safely on the road.
We operate a hybrid working approach whereby after an initial training period spent full time in the office, attendance of the Trowbridge office is a minimum of 3 days per week.
You’ll also:
- Utilise your technical background to prioritise and accurately categorise defects by analysing all information provided
- Handle a high volume of inbound calls and make outbound calls to our garage network to arrange timely vehicle repairs
- Oversee the shared inbox, supporting colleagues with technical queries and completing administrative tasks as needed
- Proactively identify solutions that maximise fleet availability and drive operational efficiency
What you'll bring. You're someone who has a clear technical understanding of how HGVs and commercial vehicles operate, ideally backed by a Level 3 City & Guilds (or equivalent) qualification. You're a tenacious problem‑solver with the ability to think on your feet and act promptly when it comes to making decisions. You have a real sense of drive when it comes to getting things done, accompanied with a can‑do approach to assure the customer is always being taken care of. In addition, you'll have knowledge of working within a customer‑centric environment and confident with both inbound and outbound calls. Your excellent communication skills and customer first approach will see you go above and beyond to keep our customers on the road.
