Who we are. From personal leasing for individual customers through to managing entire fleets for some of the UK's best-known brands. At Novuna Vehicle Solutions, we're leading the way with Electric Vehicle Leasing, Alternative Fuels and Fleet Electrification. From installing home-charging units for individual drivers to helping our commercial fleet customers select vehicles and plan their infrastructure.
What you'll do. You'll report into our Credit Risk Manager and play a key role in reviewing and approving funding requests from both new and existing customers, helping us make smart, responsible lending decisions. You'll be part of a small, supportive team of three, working closely together to help businesses and public sector organisations access the vehicles and equipment they need — from cars and vans to specialist machinery — through leasing agreements typically lasting 2 to 10 years. You'll also:
- Gather and review information from a range of sources to build a clear picture of each customer
- Analyse financial information to understand creditworthiness, performance and risk
- Turn your insights into clear, practical recommendations that support decision-making
- Work closely with colleagues across Sales, Finance and Risk teams, including Collections and Asset Risk
What you'll bring. You're an underwriter who's ready to grow and develop further, with a positive mindset and a genuine interest in learning. You already have a solid grounding in credit underwriting and understand the key principles and processes involved. Exposure to vehicles, leasing or financial services would be a bonus - but it's not essential, as we'll support you in building that knowledge. You'll be a great fit if you:
- A good understanding of financial information such as P&L, balance sheets and cash flow
- Knowledge of credit risk management
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
What's in it for you? Our benefits package is designed with flexibility in mind, allowing you to customise it to meet your unique needs. Whether you're focused on your health, financial security, or simply want to enhance your lifestyle, we offer a variety of options to support you. Our offer to you includes:
- An excellent bonus scheme
- Hybrid working
- 25 days' holiday, plus bank holidays and the option to buy/sell 5 days
- Full wellbeing package including BUPA, digital GP service, 24/7 employee assistance, plus wellbeing events throughout the year
