Responsibilities:

  • As part of our Business Development team and reporting directly to the Head of Relationship Management, you will manage a varied corporate portfolio—spotting growth opportunities, deepening partnerships, and ensuring strong risk oversight.
  • Join a team preparing to launch a brand‑new product and help shape its direction and contribute to its success from day one.
  • This is a home‑based role with regular travel across the UK, giving you the freedom to meet clients face‑to‑face and build trusted, value‑adding relationships.
  • Identify, nurture, and convert new business opportunities.
  • Assess prospective clients from a credit and financial risk perspective.
  • Take ownership of relationships with potential clients through to completion.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of introducers to generate ongoing opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • You are a confident sales professional with a strong network of industry contacts and a solid understanding of relevant financial products.
  • Your commercial insight and ability to understand client needs will enable you to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Exposure of managing larger/corporate deals (£1m+).
  • Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills.
  • Strong financial analysis and comprehension abilities.
  • Financial Services and product knowledge, (in particular Invoice Finance) is a real advantage.
