This role is suited to applicants based in the South East Region of the UK, close to our clients with occasional visits into Central London.

What you’ll do:
- Working within the credit risk function, the purpose of the field audit team is to visit and appraise client businesses, evaluating the collateral security to identify any risks to our agreement or breaches of the credit facility.
- Visit existing clients and prospective new clients to assess their liquidity within the business, ensuring any collateral security risks, adverse trends and statistics, clients and prospects with deteriorating profiles and suspicions of fraud are identified and escalated within the reports produced.
- Produce quality reports which identify, quantify, and recommend actions (where appropriate) to mitigate collateral risk and any service issues.
- Meet audit filing related targets on a month-to-month basis.
- Lead by example, particularly in alignment to the business unit's strategic imperatives, sharing best practice and technical knowledge to help develop an effective team.
- Maintain awareness and competency in using new technology in audit processes whilst maintaining reporting standards.
- Develop and improve upon current auditing process, policies, and procedures.
- Undertake any other duties as required from time to time in accordance with Novuna's business needs.
What you’ll bring:
- Credit/Risk based lending knowledge within the Invoice Finance industry, ideally with experience in an audit and survey role or Asset Backed Lending.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with good knowledge of MS Office.
- Tenacity, perseverance, and strong attention to detail with analytical skills.
- Comfortable when dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
- A self-motivated individual with the ability to work on their own initiative.
- Accounting or finance background - not essential.
- UK Finance qualification - preferred but not essential.
