Reporting to our Credit Control Team Leader, you'll join us as a Credit Controller – Receivables Specialist, playing a key role in supporting our customers by gaining a full understanding of their debt and ledger activity. You’ll build trusted, long‑lasting relationships and help customers understand how their debtors operate, empowering them to optimise their working capital and achieve better outcomes. You’ll be part of a friendly, supportive team based in Telford, working on a hybrid basis. During onboarding, you'll spend more time in the office to help you settle in and set you up for success. You'll receive comprehensive training to ensure you feel confident, capable and ready to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

You will also:

  • Manage credit control activities, including outstanding debts, payment collections and payment arrangements
  • Proactively develop and implement tailored strategies to drive timely payments
  • Build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders and team members
  • Assist with reporting and MI of client portfolios

You’ll be a confident communicator who enjoys building relationships and delivering great customer outcomes. You’ll bring solid knowledge of credit control processes and systems, alongside a genuine passion for customer service. If you're CICM qualified or considering studying towards it, that would be a lovely bonus.

You will be a great fit if you have:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem‑solving ability, with a creative and solutions‑focused mindset
  • Good knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Exposure to relevant tools and systems (payment systems e.g. Esker and CRM systems e.g SalesForce) would be an advantage — but don't worry, full training will be provided
