What does the role involve?

Reporting into the Head of Relationship Management, you'll manage a portfolio of corporate accounts to maximise income opportunities whilst balancing risk management. You'll build, develop and maintain relationships with clients by assisting them with their day-to-day requirements and will effectively manage risk to ensure the security of our lending, delivering a consistent and high-quality service throughout. This role is home based and involves travelling to visit clients across the southern region of the UK to help develop strong relationships and build trusted partnerships with our customers.

Some of your key duties will include:

  • Managing client relationships to generate income and explore opportunities to grow and diversify the portfolio
  • Determining strategies to effectively manage risk
  • Liaising with clients, keeping them up to date with any actions taken and issues arising on their accounts
  • Maintaining a network of professional contacts and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing

What are we looking for?

You're an accomplished Relationship Manager, with a track record of managing working capital and ABL facilities. You'll have solid financial comprehension and analysis skills and will be comfortable understanding financial statements. Your commercial mindset and business acumen will help you understand our client's needs and will set you up for success to provide an exceptional customer experience. Also, we're looking for the following:

  • Great stakeholder management and relationship management skills
  • Good problem solving skills with a solution orientated mindset
  • Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage a varied workload
  • Knowledge within the Financial Services or Banking sector; if that experience is within Invoice Finance that's an added bonus!
