This is a multi‑skilled role combining Front Office and Food & Beverage duties as business demands require. You will have the ability to multi‑task and bring a can‑do attitude to this exciting, fast‑paced environment. Frequent flexibility is needed to assist guests at any stage of their stay, from check‑in to check‑out and everything in between. Work may include the Food & Beverage outlets (Breakfast, Bar, Night) and supporting the Reservations and Back Office Teams when required. As a passionate individual, you will be dedicated to continuously improving the quality of our hotel’s services.

Responsibilities

  • Be the face of Novotel Glasgow, extending a warm welcome to guests during the night and putting their well‑being at the heart of everything you do.
  • Assist in the general running of the hotel at night and support other departments to set up for the next day.
  • Undertake night audits and hotel safety checks to ensure everyone is safe and cared for.
  • Ensure a wonderful guest experience.
  • Ensure all charges are accurate and posted in a timely manner.
  • Handle all calls promptly and professionally.
  • Document accurately all internal and guest messages.
  • Use every opportunity to promote hotel facilities and maximize sales through sound product knowledge and selling skills.
  • Attend to other duties as requested by Management and Supervisors.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with OPERA Cloud.
  • Strong customer service skills.

Additional Information

You will be trained in all front‑of‑house related functions and in the safety of the property and people. The hotel offers 141 rooms, meeting rooms, gym, sauna, steam room, and food & beverage facilities. You must be fluent in English. To understand our guests’ perspective, we will arrange a one‑night stay for you.
