A bit about what you will do

The Director of Sales in our hotel plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and maximising occupancy by leading the Sales and Marketing team in creating, defining, and implementing strategic initiatives that attract guests, increase bookings, and enhance brand visibility.

  • Lead the sales team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including corporate accounts, MICE, and leisure sales.
  • Oversee the development and launch of marketing campaigns and promotional activities to increase brand awareness.
  • Create and develop special events and sales blitzes to showcase the hotel to potential clients.
  • Attend trade shows and major market events locally and nationally to promote new business and increase sales and marketing opportunities for the hotel.
  • Develop strong relationships with key clients, corporate accounts, and industry partners.
  • Regularly review the hotel’s commercial strategy, identify new revenue streams and maximise the hotel’s profitability and market position.
  • Participate in the preparation of the annual departmental operating budget and financial plans.
  • Manage departmental budgets and sales goals to ensure targets and objectives are met maximising profitability.

  • Proven track record of hotel experience in a similar position.
  • High standard of English, both written and spoken.
  • Previous experience with large MICE space sales.
