Due to the hotel's increase in business, we are now looking for someone to join our Night Team in Ipswich, United Kingdom. As a Night Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the night shift, managing front desk duties, performing financial reconciliations, and providing exceptional guest services.

  • Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in reporting.
  • Manage front desk operations, including check‑ins and check‑outs.
  • Provide outstanding guest services by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area and hotel public spaces.
  • Prepare reports for management detailing occupancy rates, revenue, and other key metrics.
  • Handle phone calls professionally and courteously, ensuring a positive experience for callers.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as required during the night shift.
  • Ensure the security and safety of guests and hotel property during overnight hours.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address any guest concerns or maintenance issues.
  • Stay up‑to‑date with hotel policies, promotions, and local area information to assist guests effectively.

32 to 40 hours on a zero‑hour contract. Always hours available. Must be fully flexible. Must live in the UK.

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial reconciliation and basic accounting principles.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of efficiency during night shifts.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in hotel management software.
  • Flexibility to work overnight hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in hospitality management is a plus.
  • Previous hotel experience is helpful but not essential.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to make decisions independently.
  • Professional demeanor and a positive attitude.
  • The use of Opera cloud would be useful.
