Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality or hotel environments, with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness and hygiene standards. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our facilities are welcoming and comfortable for all guests.
Duties
- Work closely with the Head Housekeeper to ensure all rooms meet required standards and complete room checks after cleaning.
- Perform cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas following the cleaning schedule.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and fittings to maintain an appealing environment.
- Cover for the Head Housekeeper when absent, including opening shifts and completing task sheets for the team.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in good condition and ensure they are stocked.
- Follow health and safety protocols to ensure guest and staff well-being.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a housekeeping role within hospitality is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Good communication skills for guest and team interactions.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new cleaning techniques.
- Physical stamina for tasks involving standing, walking, lifting, and bending.
